Need help with AI Photo? Here are answers to common questions. Still stuck? Email us at [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

How do I get the best results?

Use a sharp, well-lit photo where your face is clearly visible and nothing is covering it. Front-facing photos work best. Blurry, dark or heavily angled photos are the most common cause of a disappointing result.

Why doesn't the result look exactly like me?

The app asks the AI model to keep your face and change everything around it, but AI results still vary. If a result looks off, try a clearer photo or a different theme — a failed generation never counts against your allowance.

Are these real photos?

No. Every image AI Photo creates is AI-generated and fictional. The app shows an "AI-generated" label on every result and draws it onto the story and before/after cards you share. A plain photo you save or share as "Photo" carries no label, so please never present it as a real photo.

Is my photo stored anywhere?

No. Your photo is sent to our AI provider to create your result and is then discarded — we do not keep it. The finished image stays in our server's memory for up to 5 minutes, so a dropped connection doesn't cost you a second photo, and is never written to disk. Your saved results live only on your device.

Whose photos may I upload?

Your own, or an adult's who has given you permission. Never a child's, and never someone else's photo without their consent.

How many free results do I get?

One full-quality generation, free, so you can see a real result on your own photo before deciding. After that you can subscribe (weekly or yearly, with the photo allowance shown on the purchase screen) or buy a one-time pack of 10 photos. Saved and shared copies of the free photo carry a small watermark; photos made with a subscription or a pack don't.

Do pack credits expire?

No. Unused credits stay on the device where you bought the pack and are used one per successful photo. A failed generation never uses a credit.

What's the difference between Save to Photos and My Photos?

Save to Photos puts a copy into your iPhone's photo library. Keep in My Photos stores it in the app's own gallery, on your device only.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open AI Photo → Settings → Manage Subscription, which takes you straight to your Apple subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
