Welcome to Plantro ("Plantro", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Plantro mobile app and related services (the "Services"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Plantro helps you identify plants and get AI-generated care guidance and possible-issue assessments from photos you provide, and helps you track watering and care. This guidance is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional horticultural, agricultural, veterinary, or medical advice. AI can be wrong or incomplete; use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
Some plants are toxic to people or pets, and some treatments (fertilizers, pesticides, or other chemicals) can be harmful if misused. Always follow product labels and verify safety with a qualified professional before acting. Plantro is not responsible for any harm to plants, people, or animals resulting from reliance on the app's guidance.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You agree not to: upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates others' rights; upload images of other people without their consent; reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Services; or use the Services to break any law. We may decline to process content that violates these rules.
You keep all rights to the photos you provide. You grant us only the limited, temporary permission needed to process your photo and return plant identification and care guidance (see our Privacy Policy). We do not use your photos to train AI models.
The app offers a limited free experience and an auto-renewable subscription, Plantro Pro, available as a weekly or yearly plan, which may include a free trial period for eligible users. It also offers optional one-time consumable AI-consult packs. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. If a free trial is offered and you subscribe, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The app and its software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We may add, change, or remove features, and may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." AI results vary and may be inaccurate; we do not guarantee identification accuracy, diagnosis correctness, or that following the guidance will keep a plant healthy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, plants, or profits, arising from your use of the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
